THE INS GROUP QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE (2015-PRESENT)

As a team member of The INS Group, a national consulting firm

for nonprofits and government agencies, I write original communications including a quarterly newsletter about nonprofit trends and monthly e-blasts. I also project manage and write copy for The INS Group's website. In 2018, I oversaw a major redesign of the firm's website and wrote all website copy.

ELLERBE CREEK WATERSHED ASSOCIATION SPRING JOURNAL 2019

I wrote several original articles and conducted interviews for ECWA's Spring 2019 publication for members. Highlights included the organization's annual Beaver Queen Pageant fundraiser, which had record attendance and donations that year.

PREVENT CHILD ABUSE NC & EDCIDURHAM HERALD-SUN (2018)

In 2018, I collaborated with the President & CEO of two leading nonprofits, Prevent Child Abuse NC and the East Durham Children's Initiative, to ghostwrite a joint op-ed advocating for increased early childhood education and resources for North Carolina's children and families.

BLOGGING STRATEGY, DEVELOPMENT EDITING, & WRITING COACHING -
CENTER FOR TEACHING QUALITY (2014-2015)

From 2014-2015, I managed a team of 15-20 educator bloggers who wrote weekly for CTQ's blogging platform. I assigned story ideas, provided editorial feedback and author coaching, conducted online trainings, and placed blog posts and articles in a variety of nationally-read publications including Education WeekThe Washington Post, and Huffington Post.

BRANDING STRATEGY, COPYEDITING, & PROJECT MANAGEMENT - TEACHERPOWERED.ORG (2015)

I collaborated with Education Evolving to launch teacherpowered.org, a first-of-its-kind online resource promoting teacher-led, student-centered schools. I helped develop blogging and editorial content for the website and a communications campaign to drive attendance at the nation's first conference in support of teacher-powered schools.
